Penn began his lighting design career as an intern at Lam and was hired as a designer soon after graduating from The Pennsylvania State University with a master’s degree in Architectural Engineering. Penn is especially interested in how light affects human perception, and what designers can do to minimally impact the surrounding natural world. Outside of lighting, Penn is passionate about live music, big mountains, and proper chopstick technique.
