Upon arrival at this confidential law firm, expectations are immediately upended. What begins as a typical elevator journey transforms into an unexpected, artful experience. The entry sequence unfolds like a private residential gallery—warm, refined, and rich in detail. The reception area, more akin to a luxurious living room, sets the tone with its elegant millwork, curated artwork, and ambient lighting. Concealed architectural lighting details softly illuminate surfaces, balancing warmth and neutrality to create a welcoming and sophisticated first impression. The design intentionally evokes comfort and ease, reflecting the client’s goal of creating a bright, inviting environment that puts visitors at ease from the moment they enter.
Throughout the two client-facing floors, lighting integrates seamlessly into the architectural fabric. Custom housings for gimbal fixtures align with ceiling purlins, merging form and function. Sculptural sconces and decorative fixtures punctuate the space, adding layers of visual interest among the artwork and textured materials. A glass-enclosed “jewel box” conference room reveals itself through delicate linen drapes, offering a bright and lively meeting space. Vertical wall slots provide ambient brightness and balance daylight throughout, while user-friendly controls in lounges and conference areas allow tailored lighting experiences. Preset scenes in multipurpose spaces simplify adjustments, supporting a range of activities. Behind the scenes, advanced energy-saving systems are seamlessly embedded, masked by the richness and comfort of the luminous environment.
