In preparation for its 125th anniversary, Phipps Conservatory undertook the restoration of the historic ogee crest, which had been missing from the glasshouse since 1937. As part of the celebration, a new lighting scheme was envisioned to turn the original Lord & Burnham design into a lantern for special events.
